The original branch of EWB-UK, Engineers Without Borders Cambridge was founded in 2001. Its subsequent success in gaining the support of students across the country has given rise to EWB-UK as a national organisation. Today Cambridge remains the centre of EWB-UK operations, providing Cambridge students with excellent opportunities to become involved with the organisation's work.
A smaller team remains dedicated to co-ordinating EWB activities on a local level, organising guest lectures, research initiatives and training courses as part of the university's International Development community.
