Upcoming Courses
Urban Water and Sanitation: Challenges of Collaborative Projects (1 day, date TBC, early Lent term)
This training course, date to be confirmed, will be the fourth instalment in EWB-Cam's collaboration with EWB-UK Professional Network members from the local Mott MacDonald office, the Cambridge WASH Series. It will concentrate on presenting stakeholder perspectives in the development of water supply schemes for 'unofficial' urban areas.
Regular Courses
Shelter Training Course (2 days)
This course has been run each Spring in Cambridge since 2007, and brings together expert speakers and workshop-leaders to cover a great deal of ground on the subject of shelter. The entire process from emergency provision to mitigation in long-term reconstruction and development is examined in a mixture of talks and hands-on workshops.
Cambridge WASH Series (5 individual days)
Currently in its first cycle, this series is designed, organised and run in collaboration with EWB-UK Professional Network members at the local Mott MacDonald water division. Courses thus far have been a Pumps Workshop, a day on Water Quality & Health, and course on Total Sanitation. Upcoming courses in the series are described above.
